Christoph Busching (*1956)

Christoph Busching


was born in Munich. His first music teacher was Renate Dänel. He then attended a preparation course for piano by Johanna Jensen and Anton Creek at the University of Salzburg, the Mozarteum.

Busching won many prizes in the competition “Jugend musiziert” (competition for young musicians) at regional and national levels. •

  • 1979 Diploma of Education – teaching certificate
  • 1981 enrolment in the chamber music piano class from Erika Frieser and Norman Shelter
  • Course for composition by Prof. Helmut Eder
  • Second prize in the competition “New Music” organized by Salzburg Radio
  • 1985 Concert Diploma for Piano Chamber Music.
  • Numerous concerts at home and abroad, especially for chamber music and the arrangement of vocal pieces.
  • Lecturer at the “Oberösterreicherischen Landesmusikschulwerks” (Upper Austrian Academy of Music) for piano and “correpitition”.
  • 2001 Bushing’s teaching concept “Prima Vista” (publisher –Bosse) was published.

July 2004 his “Hand –und Fußbuch des Klavierunterichts” (Hand and Foot Book for Piano Lessons) was published by Bosse. • Since 2002 he has a partnership with Svetlana Flat. Together they are a concert formation, but they also lecture together and offer further education courses with the title “Pädagogisch nutzbare Klaviermusik zu vier Händen” (Educational Practicable Piano Music for Four Hands).
