Jules Alary (1814-1891)

Jules Alary (1814-1891) was born in Milan with French parents. He studied at the Academy of Music in Paris, was acknowledged as a famous opera composer (Rosamunde), singing-teacher and was persuaded to write “multiple-hand” music by his brother.
